Due to the Canada Post strike, there will be a delay in sending our annual retiree benefits renewal communication. You will be notified of the 2025 benefit premium amounts once the strike has resolved. If the rates are impacted, you will be given advanced notice of the change.

Here are some things to keep in mind to ensure you continue to enjoy the security and peace of mind you’ve earned.

Update your personal information
Notify HR Operations of any changes to your personal information (such as name, address, phone number, email address) and family status (i.e. add or remove a dependent due to a life event, such as marriage, divorce, death or birth of a child).
Update a child’s dependent status

If you have a dependent child turning 21, and attending an accredited, post-secondary educational institution full-time, submit a completed Student Eligibility Form to HR Operations prior to their 21st birthday to ensure continued coverage. Once they graduate, you must remove them from the plan by completing the Remove Student Status section of the Student Eligibility Form and submit to HR Operations. Coverage will automatically terminate at age 25 (26 in Quebec).
